I only wore it for the first couple of days as the battery ran down and I forgot the charger, but even with the vast amount of dust, I rinsed it off when it died (and again when I got home as the dust gets everywhere) and it survived perfectly. So far at least. The digital crown is still smooth, and no dust under the screen etc...I'm pretty happy about that!!

I saw on our Bay news that people coming back had their cars so covered with the alkaline dust that it was taking multiple car washes to get the stuff off. Typical car wash cost $100. Hope your watch continues to run fine and the button, crown, speaker, mic don't start acting up. Hey no photos of the Watch at Burning Man?

The dust is crazy out there. Worse than I expected, and manages to get into everything somehow. Our RV was caked both inside and out. No Photos of it though...and of course I didn't see any others out there
