Had them on a 16" MBP.

Has anyone else ran into distraction wen the addition of screen real estate was introduced? I found myself using half of one display to have "distractions" open while I was trying to concentrate on work.

I know this seems to be a discipline and attention issue that in itself requires attention.

Also, I find a MBP sitting on a desk by itself such. satisfying minimal satisfaction.

Has anyone else an into this?

I cannot imagine giving up the Ultrafine at this point, especially coming from an iMac. I agree that having that minimalist look on your desk is satisfying though. Then again, I’ll take the real estate over the clean look.

I used to be a two monitor person but since moving back to 1 monitor only I have become much more productive. (Work in IT Operations).
I currently drive my MBP16 with 1 27 4K screen (at 1440p) and am totally happy with the one screen setup.
The only reason I prefer the monitor instead of using just the laptop screen is for better back posture and less eye strain.

I’ve been working off the laptop screen lately rather than my 27” since I’m spending more time working from the recliner than my office right now. Been more productive than ever. I think the smaller screen allows for better focus. I always kind of suspected this about myself which is why I’m a single monitor person. Makes me question my XDR lust.
