Hi! Ended up returning the 12 pro for the 12 pro max due to the battery not lasting the whole day on the 12 pro.

Just picked up my max and wow it’s big as hell but I love it! It seems a tiny bit wider but I think it displays more information even better. For those who returned their 12 pro for a 12 pro max, what is your experience?

Were you using the 6.1 Pro primarily on 5G ? I’m wondering if the battery in the 12 Pro is, as appears to be the case, a downgrade from the 11 Pro (5.8“).

I also returned my 12 pro because of the battery. The max is without question big. It feels somewhat better in my hand while using it, that is a surprise. The bigger display is nice. But I will certainly miss the smaller size while carrying the phone with me!

The battery and size on my 12 pro were the reason I returned it. I thought I could manage with a smaller phone then my 11PM. I was wrong and completely love the size and feel of the 12PM.

Nah I was using it mostly in my apartment on WiFi. However I was using it mostly during the election and refreshing the maps every 10 minutes haha. Still my 11 pro max would’ve lasted through this usage.

haha. The election was literally the only time in the last 3 months I turned on YouTube TV. Glued to CNN for like 3 days/nights straight.

I really like the 6.1 but returning it once my Max comes today. I was having to charge it twice a day. Its just a pain signing on to so many apps etc. 2 weeks later and I find stuff on my 12 pro that I still need to sign into etc. I kind of wish I had just stuck with the 11 pro max and skipped the 12 Pro and waited for the Max but I kind of wanted to go 6.1. Other then that its been a great little phone.

apple said the 12pro has 1 hour less battery life than the 11pro. The 12max and 11max have the same battery life. Roughly.

If you create an encrypted backup through iTunes and restore from it, all your accounts are logged in. It’s a very handy feature most people don’t know about!

I turned on my 12 pro Max at 9:40 this morning with the intent of killing the battery so I can charge it overnight. It was 70% when I opened it and 40% now. This battery is nuts.

12 pro went back last week and the PM arrived today. its hefty for sure! Still sitting on the fence about which one i should settle with...

I had been debating between the Pro and Pro Max. I've had an iPhone X for 3 years, but before that had a 7 Plus, and have missed having a big screen for the past few years, but was worried about how many people were scared by the 12 Pro Max size and weight. Well, the 12 Pro Max came today, and let me tell you, it was the right decision! After only using it for 30 minutes, I looked at my iPhone X for something and MY GOD that screen looks small now. How the heck did I use it for 3 years? It honestly doesn't even seem that big. Seems about the same as all of the large phones from the past decade. Nearly identical in size to the Nexus 6P I had 5 years ago, and fun fact, a full 5 mm narrower than the original Galaxy Note from 2011 that started the whole large phone craze.

Good to see so many 12PM positive reviews. I also tell people got to try the big screen first. Then say something about it. I don't mean 1 day...I mean at least 1 week. I don't ever see myself using a tiny iPhone again.

New phone compression I bet. I'm sure this will stop.

I never considered the Pro. I always get the Pro Max because of its display. I got mine today morning and so far I am loving it. I love the screen estate and the design. The camera is not as important to me, but of course I am happy to know that this is the best camera on an iPhone.

My 12 pro went to a friend and I got the max. Battery was the main motivator. This screen and camera are awesome, and yes having had the 12 pro from day 1, the pm wide is a noticeable improvement.

Extremely happy that we waited for the Pro Max. The size is perfect. I thought it would be difficult to handle, but I probably use it with a single hand most of the time. A great improvement over my 8+ in every way.
