I took back my ipod for an exchange , It had 3 dead or stuck pixels, and i noticed the negative black when i compared it to another ipod touch and iphone. I used this video to show the genius at the apple store since he was asking questions.

you can obviously see the black negative if you look at it straight, the effect clears if you view the ipod from an angle.
They didnt have anymore ipod touch so i just returned it and got back the full amount.
As I walked out i started using the iphone on display and watched the video again , and of course there was no negative black effect at 1:06 . The iphone felt so much better than the ipod and i could add calendar events! I just dont want the stinking phone everything else is perfect on it. the volume control the speaker. the display the scratchless back. the camera . yeah its two mm bigger but who cares.
Ill just wait till the iphone price drops a little bit so i can buy it on ebay.
