Returning An iPad 2

The sad part is, I used to work at an Apple Store so I should know the answer to this.

I bought an iPad 2 a week ago and haven't used it yet. At the Apple Store, I waited in line from 6am and had the first spot in line. I wanted a 16GB 3G in white and they only had 16GB WiFi in black. I figured I would deal with it.

When I bought it, they opened the packaging to set it up like they do with iPhones. I have yet to use the iPad and now I have an untouched, open iPad. Will they take it back without the restocking fee? I would put it on eBay but I don't feel like dealing with the hassle.

I just want my white 12GB 3G and no screen bleeding.

Apple got rid of its Restocking fee on all of its products, just take it back for a full refund.

Yes, they'll take it back. But unfortunately, they can't give you a 12GB 3G in any color.
