Returning iPad for bleeding issue?

Has anyone received a refund for their iPad due to the bleeding light issue? I wish I'd bought the 3G version, and know that they won't let me pay more to upgrade if I swap it out. Could I get a refund, and then just buy a new one in another transaction?

There is a very very long thread about bleeding. There are plenty of answers to your question in that thread. Give it a look.

Finally, if you want to return it for bleeding, be prepared to get the same model back.. they are not going to refund you until you swap multiple times, if at all, assuming you are past the return policy.
