I have today returned by black scuffed iPhone 5 back to apple (courier picked up at work today).
I am due to receive my new one tomorrow.

My wife took the charging lead to work and I couldn't find hers anywhere before boxing it up. It is therefore 'sans' lightning adapter.

My question is, will I get charged for the missing lead?

Cheers

Hopefully ALL you sent back was the iPhone. Apple sends replacement phones, but not replacement accessories. Always hold on to your charger, cable and earpods :)

Nope, apple said they would be sending me a brand new, sealed iPhone (included accessories and all) to replace mine.

The idea is to wait until you get the replacement!! Then you would be able to return your phone and whatever accessories that you needed. Why would you jump the gun before you had the answer??

I sent mine back sans cable as well. Don't mind if I get charged $19 for it...as they are rare as hens teeth where I am.
