Hello,

I bought a MacBook Pro last Saturday (May 7) from an Apple retail store, and I just wanted to confirm that I could return it open/used within 14 days. I also wanted to confirm that there is no longer any restocking fee as of early this year?

Any input is welcomed, and will be appreciated.

I do believe you have about 10-15 days to return it.
1 question, why are you returning it? If you're a new Mac user and have some issues, this community would be more than happy helping you. :)

Yes, I have read that. I was simply asking for a confirmation from someone who has returned something to Apple, and that I had read the Sales Policies correctly.
Why everyone on these boards needs confirmation of what mac to purchase, or to verify what Apple says on their own site I don't understand.

If Apple says you can return it for 14 days, why would you not be able to? They don't make numbers up and then tell people they can't return their items after 5 days...:confused:

my mbp 15" is purely awesome i have read some article that it is indeed awesome but want to confirm from those who actually used it...is it really awesome? :D

give the guy a break.

yes, you definitely can. you can get either a refund or a replacement.

Yup 14 day policy.

What about a 1 month exchange? I have the 2.2GHz 2011 MBP 15" (2199 model). I want an iMac & MBA, would it be too late to exchange it? Its 1 month old.

help me out guys.

how about if i buy a MBA and find it s-hit with many problems i can get 100% refund of mah monies or get another one directly from store (swap)

btw, i'll be doing this on a non-premium apple authorized reseller

thx =D

hahahaha I love how this question has been answered 10 times, but now we have people coming in and saying, well what about me, mine's only 1 month, what about me I want to return it after 5 weeks....!!

Ummm, did you guys not read the 15 post thread? If that's too much work for you, please do us all a favor and stop posting on the forums.

The Apple policies are printed on the back of the receipt. Apple does seem to be a little flexible on those policies depending on the store.
