Ummm... I was wondering if you could return a jailbroken itouch back to Best Buy and then buy a new one.

Restore it first, otherwise your warranty is void.

Why are u returning it ?

drain of battery and then return, when they try to charge it, it won't charge, correct? Then they won't know it's jailbroken!

The problem is, i cant restore it! Itunes doesn't even recongnize it

Maybe that's because it's jailbroken.
Something must have gone wrong in the jailbreaking process.
Best Buy will not except it if it's out of warranty or jailbroken.

But when the staff try to check it, they might (in fact they will) get suspicious as they will think you've messed it up :D

Ignoring the morality of the situation, I am sure you could return it just fine. Most Best Buy returns counterpeople are on cruise control.

That's only if it's within the 14 day return policy.
If it's not within that then you have to go see a Geek Squad guy.
And I take it since it's a 1G iPod touch then it is not within the return policy.

DFU mode, then restore. Youll be fine.

Google the terms i gave you, enjoy your ipod.

ummm...... the bad part is if you charge it for sometime, it will show the quickpwn logo.
