Returning online purchase to brick n' mortar store.

Is this possible?

I bought a dual link dvi cable from the Apple store (online). Unfortunately it exhibits all the flaws the reviews suggest and Id like to return it. Be easier to take it into my local Apple store than return it via post methinks.
