After a week long trial, I am returning the Powerbeats Pro 2.

I got the Beats to replace my AirPods Pro 2 because my AirPods were always falling out specially the right ear.

After trying them out, I am finding the Beats do not fall to the ground because of the hook, but they are still falling out of my ear. Then, I have to continuously adjust the Beats to get a proper position in my ear.

Which brings me to the second issue with the beats. I find it impossible to put them on or adjust them without triggering the button. The button design is not good and gets pressed even if you are being careful to try not to press it. It is even harder when I am in the middle of a run.

Plus, there are a couple of other issues.

The sound of the Beats is inferior to my ears to that of the AirPods Pro. I noticed it very soon after trying them out, but thought I just wasn’t used to them. After a week, I am still not liking their sound.

The case is way too big. I used to have the original Powerbeats Pro so I didn’t think I would mind, but I guess I got used to the smaller size of the case of the AirPods Pro.

I was very excited for the Powerbeats Pro 2 as a solution to my AirPods Pro 2 falling out, but the Powerbeats failed and I will have to continue looking for a solution.

Fair do's for giving them a fair go over a week. I decided the same after 10 minutes, 😄.

Returning the pair I bought today as I can’t get a good fit/proper seal with any of the tips provided unless I actively push them into my ear while running the test.

The original version fit me much better and my Beats Fit Pros fit so much better and provide better noise cancellation.

Disappointed

I just got a pair for travelling as I wanted something smaller than my AirPod Max headphones and wanted the hook as I've had surgery on one of my ears so my ear canal is large. I second the annoyance with the button, and I find the treble very sharp, even making sure I have a good seal. However, if I set the EQ to reduce treble they sound fantastic and the noise cancellation works well. The fit is rock solid too... there's no way they are going to fall out. I saw a lot of complaints about the size of the case but coming from the AirPods Max this is a non factor for me. So I'm keeping them.

I returned mine after about 10 days of a trial also, they didn't stay sealed no matter which tips you use, and the button placement was very annoying. Swing and a miss on these...

Thanks for this - my Beats Fit Pro are almost three years old and are holding on pretty well, but I know I'll need to replace them eventually. I do have APP2, but I just can't see myself using them full-time as workout earbuds.

I hope Apple improves the Beats Fit Pro in the future to include adaptive mode - to me that would be the one thing that I'm missing with the BFP right now. I can manually switch between noise canceling and transparent when I am doing workouts, but adaptive works pretty well the few times I did use APP2 during a workout. But if I needed to replace them right now, I'd still get the Beats Fit Pro.
