Returning Refurb items/??

Lets say i buy apple tv refurbished from the apple website...and then find out that i dont want it. Can i bring it back to my nearby apple store for a refund?

that goes for all sorts of things i get refurbished...are they returnable and can i go to a store to refund ?

I bought a refurbished iBook last month. I had a problem with the wireless component. I e-mailed them about it and they had me ship it back for credit with no problem. I found it was as a painless procedure.

but was anyone able to return a refurbished product bought online through an apple store in a mall, etc.. so i dont need to worry about sending it through the mail.
