It seems that every single person on macrumors has had to return an iPhone 3G. Most more than once.

Does anyone know the actual return percentages because, judging by the people ion here, it would be a high amount.

ps. I know its not going to be as high as the percentage of negative iPhone threads to positive ones, but does anyone have any idea?

I didn't return mine.
Neither did my partner return his.
Nor did my sister return hers…
2 people I work with (who bought iPhones) have also not returned theirs.

So… are we just "lucky"?

I don't think so.

My wife and I also have a 16g each and they have been great. No returns here. Plus Apple has sold 5 million according to the latest statistics. Id bet only 1% overall have been returned. The MR community makes up a very small percentage. I mean 5,000,000. Thats amazing.

Out of seven iPhones (mine and my friends'), there's been one return, and his was borderline. The Genius was nice to him and gave him a replacement when he had screwed up his screen.

So I would say we're 0/7, really. And all thrilled with our phones, btw.

I had to return my first one, but it was no big deal, and probably my fault. Current is great!

I still have my two original white iPhones.

According to this thread, it would seem most people still have theirs as well. Now what are the percentages of that?

95%?

Yeah i understand that more people are going to post about problems and returns than not returning.

I was just interested in knowing how many do get returned.

Thanks for the replies.
