Okay,

So i am considering the new MBP (ah i guess no more matte  )

Just wondering if i should dive in for the newly released ones, or wait (HOW LONG?) for a revision B (i.e. same specs but fixed first time problems)?

- also next expected update for the MBP would be Feb? (only expect speed bumps in processor and or HD space???)

- Also how come the canadian education prices are more!! (previous model was 1899 with edu discount of 200$, this time its 2049 with a discount of only a 100$)

1) There are no known problems

2) Even if there are problems, the fix may be made via firmware or software

3) Say there is a Rev B in mid Jan. Why not just wait until the Spring '09 speed bumps. But wait! They'll be Rev A... better wait until Rev B. But then why not wait until the Late '09 MBPs with the Nethalem chips. Oh wait, all new chips... definitely wait for Rev B. And the cycle continues.

Bottom line just buy the computer when you need it. There is always the possibility of an issue. That's tech.
