revB logic board in a revA G5 iMac?

I finally found place that will replace the dying logic board in my revA G5 iMac at a reasonable price ($350). My question is, can I opt for the revB board instead, which is faster, has a higher bus speed, better video card, etc. (and only $50 more)? Would it be compatible?

I forgot to mention that both boards are PPC, the revB being the ambient light sensor board.
