Reversed images in Preview

I seem to have a problem in Preview where some jpegs display as if you are looking at the negative. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

I am using 10.2.2 on a dual 1ghz MDD.

I've only had that happen in the pages drawer. Everything in the main display looks fine.

CMYK?

I had that problem when I previewed JPGs that were set to CMYK colour instead of RGB. When I converted them, they looked fine again.
