Hello, I am an AT&T user. A little over a month ago I installed the hacked IPCC file to my 6+.

Is there a way to get back to the 18.1 version that AT&T just released a few days ago? Either that or install the newer "hacked" file (Beta 3) on top of it?

I tried all of the steps over, the loading bar comes up when I click the IPCC file, but nothing happens on the phone. The carrier version stays the same. Rebooted multiple times also.

Thanks!

You need to add CommCenter to apply any ipcc files in iTunes. And to do that you need to run a command in DOS first. Check the Custom carrier topic, I listed the windows DOS commands there.

To revert back to 18.1 you do NOT need Commcenter patch nor the command line entry. You can simply follow the revert policy and it'll revert to 18.0\18.1.

If you have an iPhone7,1, here is the AT&T 18.1 IPCC: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS8.1.1/CarrierBundles/031-07956.20141212.AR3RR/ATT_US_iPhone.ipcc and here is it for the iPhone7,2: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS8.1.1/CarrierBundles/031-07956.20141212.AR3RR/ATT_US_iPhone.ipcc Both are downloads from Apple's servers. Use a search engine to do research about how to install them via iTunes.

Neither of those links work, I get:
"An error occurred while processing your request."

I have an iPhone7,1

If you can provide a working link I should be able to install the file from there.

Thanks for your help!

OP- you need to get the stock carrier bundle for AT&T. I'll help.

1. Download the four AT&T zip files I have in THIS LINK.

2. In iFile browse to /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone and make a backup of the four AT&T bundles. Save them somewhere else.

3. Delete those four bundles from the folder.

4. Paste in the four bundles you downloaded from my Dropbox. (Unzip them, bundles are inside)

5. Reboot. Your phone should acquire a signal, at least it did for me at this point, but we aren't done yet.

6. Go into Cydia and uninstall the CommCenter patch if you haven't already.

7. Reboot again. Phone should again acquire signal.

8. At this point, my phone was back to stock carrier version. (I'm on Sprint)

9. After a few minutes, I got a pop up saying a new carrier update was available. I chose update, and that was that.

Did the hacked carrier years back and they're iffy in some areas. But that may exp. sometimes it's just easier to restore if you don't like the custom carriers results. Sure takes a while but you don't need to pay attention to it cause it's automated haha

If you haven't installed the carrier hack, there's nothing to revert back to, lol

Bro he asked cause he said he just did it recently, so he did install the hack.

This whole thread is jacked up because kalirob99 came in and started speaking about something he doesn't know anything about.

Not being mean, but bro is English not your main language? Cuz I pointed out kalirob asked a simple question that wasn't answered. You need to chill out.
