I have a feeling it's lost but-

does anyone know if there is a way to revert to a previously saved version of a .pdf file in mac?
My problem is that i used pdf studio to edit, & i add my notes via stickies.. today I opened the file under preview and actually saved over in preview so now all the stickies are flattened and I cannot open them in either program (hence all my work & information is lost).

If you have a suggestion on how to pry open those stickies, that would be appreciated too.. but I think that's a dead end since the file was flattened.

Thank you & I won't be making this mistake again...

The stickies might be able to be removed in Acrobat Pro as they're probably just objects. How many pages are there in the PDF?

Ask your Time Machine nicely and it'll return you an archived version. If you use CS3 or CS4 you can look in your version cue archives if you have them enabled.
