I apologize for my bad English writing, beforehand. :apple:

well , i was smart about it and installed it on a separate partition and i can compare really well now.
In my opinion it was much better then i expected and its not all flat , flat..i DID however fix the 2d dock and honestly i don't know why they did not give the option of a 3d dock because the icons are really 3d even though the art style is 2d... so i was pleasantly surprised when i used a 3d dock (search Yosemite 3d dock on youtube)
I think yosimite is a smarter OS X but it suffers in the visual department , it seems as if it should have come before the lion x visual style or would be more fitting on a whole different device just to avoid the comparison between the two. In conclusion i must say that its really not easy to pick between the two , its a loss any one i choose ... so is it possible to ave both ? well i have both but will i be able to keep both or will i expose one over the other?
personally i think that the yosimite version is a bit too simple coming from the full fletched 3d glossy heavy detailed OS X to a LESS visual heavy OS X, feeling as if i was going backwards then forwards while the functionality and updates were a many steps forward and was and is enjoyable.
Being originally a proponent of OS X maverick over the new one , i can't help that it does feel a bit alpha to me.

I do recommend OS X yosimite not so much on its visuals but on its functionality it would have been much more enjoyable had it not come AFTER OS X but rather BEFORE but all this is my view of it as of now and it might change in the future as i get used to the new OS. AND i recommend making a partition and installing on it BEFORE upgrading your main OS, it might save you a lot of pain.
