I am not a daily bluetooth user because 1) my car has it and 2) the last time I tried one which was a few years ago they werent that good but I am happy to report that Anker has changed this.
The call quality is very good. I was walking around a busy mall talking on the phone and the person on the other end heard almost none of the noise. There was no cut-outs or echoing like I had with my previous moto and jabra so I was extremely pleased once I found out Anker had improved on this.
The quality of build is your standard quality, its a no frills type head set IMO and thats a good thing. You can use the ear support bracket or just go with the in-ear option. Both felt very secure for my larger sized ears. I must say I was a little shocked by how comfortable it was to wear with the ear support bracket while having on a thicker band eyeglass frame, it was a fear that this would not work but to my liking it was flawless.
Anker decided to include some what of a gimmicky vent clip/dash mount for the actual charger for the headset, which if your car does not have built in bluetooth then serves its purpose. The charging port is also magnetic so that it "locks" the headset into place while charging not to allow it to easily fall out, but when you need it just grab and go.
The headset uses BT4.0 and is also backwards compatible. I paired it with my iPhone 5S running iOS 7.0.3 and it paired almost instantly. When waking from the charger it reconnects almost instantly as well. This was a pretty nice touch IMO. The battery on this thing is GREAT. I am talking 2-3 days before I had to recharge it. I generally don't spend hours on a call but I expected it to have battery drain being that its always on when not being charged/turned off but it lasted me 3 days easy!
The headset comes with various ear pieces to get the proper sound/fit so make sure you try them all out first as well as with and without the brackets.
The only thing I would have to ding on is the weird placement of buttons, its not that I was hanging up on people its more that I was having issues lowering and raising the call volume but I have been able to get used to it for the most part. Another thing would be that this is advertised as a stereo headset, I am not sure I would 100% agree with that title because to most people stereo would mean you can listen to music. I suppose yes you can listen to music on this but the quality is not exactly my definition of "stereo.
Id recommend this to anyone who wants a product with good warranty from a company who actually listens to their customers. Like I said earlier its been awhile since I have owned one of these but I am glad I got this one because its a pretty solid add-on for my phone.
