Since I've gotten my Apple Watch Series 10 (great device btw unlike my old Series 5) this constant notification keeps randomly appearing in the notification center, and it's only on the Watch. Not my iPhone, iPad or Mac or any Apple TV. If I check all my info on my Apple ID, everthing is correct and up-to-date, nevertheless this notification keeps nagging me often twice daily. Any idea why it's doing this and only on my Apple Watch? Everything else syncs up fine, nothing seems to be wrong and Apple Pay works, and my Health data is working 100% so I've just ignored it but there seems to be zero way to dismiss this notification and never see it again.

So far the only workaround is enabling DND 100% and then I miss actual important stuff, but without DND on it's pinging my wrist and making the same sound as a text message and when I see that annoying one instead it's starting to get me flustered.

its asking to review the phone #? that tbh sounds fishy, never seen or heard about that.
Do you use any 3rd party apps on the watch?
I'd contact Apple support

I have seen notifications like "confirm your Apple account or re-login to your Apple account" but they never persisted

It's been a notification on the Watch since the day I set it up. If I ignorew or dismiss it, it just comes back and is accompanied by a ping to my wrist and the same little 'DING!' sound I get when I receive a text message. The notification also shows up in settings as well, above 'General'. I think it's legit as I've never installed any third-party apps on it, it's basically out of box (I didn't feel the need to use the Watch app store as it's complete enough as is)

Also on the Apple discussion forum there are many threads with similar problems (only not Apple Watch itself, often a Mac or iPad, or all the folks' devices) On Mac they can click 'keep this number' and the notification in their case also persists the following day. In all cases I've found, the number is also legit, no need to change it and no answer as to what is triggering this message or why. It doesn't stop anything working re: Apple Account in either case, all services, iCloud, Apple Pay continue working:

when you say Settings, do you mean the watch app on the phone? if it shows up there, you should be able to tap and get further prompts, that might make go it away? It does look legit though ...

No, the Settings app on watch (posted a photo of the Watch's settings menu, above the 'General' section is this notification (which never goes away) it's similar to the area where you get ID notifications on iPhone such as 'finish setting up your Apple ID' or 'Get Apple News+ Free for 30 days' but this is the watch interpretation and the only thing there is this annoyance. It also places this notification in the Watch's Notification Center, and if ignored or swiped away, will return with accompanying wrist tap and sound notification. If clicked you get either nothing (and it returns the following day) or asked to 'change number, keep number or cancel' and since the number is fine, choosing 'keep this number' also makes this notification return the next day. There is no rhyme or reason given for what is triggering this message or why.

The Settings section on the iPhone's Watch app shows none of this, and none of my other Apple devices are being plagued by this. Nothing stops working in regards to my Apple ID either.

Also I am not running the WatchOS Beta anymore as of the official launch of watchOS 26.

That's quite odd, and I assume a reboot (forced or via OS update) does nothing?
Well, I'd contact Apple, and my guess is they'll ask you to in-pair/re-pair, which is a pita as you have to setup Apple Pay again. Now if you decide to do that, set the watch up as new, do not restore from backup

Nope, I turned my Watch off (as i don't do much outdoor walks in the winter here as winters are brutal in Kentucky, all 6 months of winter!) and went back to my mechanical watch (I'm a '70s nerd) for a while, and only recently turned it back on to resync and update itself, and the notification and the alert in Settings remain. I haven't found much info online about this bug, and any threads about it go without a solution (or affect the OP's entire line of Apple devices where in my case it's just my Watch) or are assumed to be scams ('it's a phishing scam ignore it') and I don't think it's a scam.

Now I occasionally experience a different annoying notification on my iPhone and Mac, a similar alert saying 'update payment information, to avoid losing subscriptions, review and update your payment information' or something akin to it, but when I check again, everything is fine, not sure what that is trying to imply, but it doesn't affect me every day, only every few months if that. There are no declines in my credit card history so not sure what Apple is trying to say there...

On the iPhone try going to settings > your name at the top > Sign in and Security (verify your phone number is there) > Two Factor Authentication, verify your Apple Watch S10 and your cellular number are listed in 'Verify Using'.

If you find the Watch where all your devices are listed under your name there is a section for Device Info. It should say "This device is trusted and can receive Apple Account verifications codes".

unpair the Watch with your iPhone. re-pair it with your iPhone.
if there is still a problem after this. then you need to ask your carrier for support.
