Piel Frama is a case manufacture based out of Spain that specializes in making high quality cases for all of your favorite gadgets. They have been around since 1975 perfecting what they do and it really shows in the product they sell today. As soon as I received the Cinema Case from them I was blown away with the packaging first and foremost. Your case comes in a very classy box with their embossed gold logo on it. Upon opening up the box you’re greeted with a nicely presented paper wrapping with their logo on it as well. Right away I could literally smell the leather without even taking the case out of the paper that’s how nice the leather is they use. I have to say there isn’t another accessory I have reviewed let alone an iPad case that has this nice of leather used. It literally feels like your unboxing a Louis Vuitton bag or something.

Getting to the case itself it is your normal Cinema style case that has a folio design with a landscape standing position. The texture of the leather on the case is just out of this world. It really has to be held in the hand to be appreciated. The pictures can only do so much to express how nice it is.

Opening up the case you see a nice Piel Frama embossed logo covering the lining of the case. The Cinema Case also has a leather strap with Velcro attached to secure your iPad into the case for that extra protection.

The Magnets used on the cover of the case are very strong and for sure one of the strongest I have seen yet. They do an extremely good job of holding the cover closed to your iPad and execute the on/off smart cover function perfectly.

Inserting your iPad is simple with an easy push and it fits very nicely and snug with no loose ends especially with the included leather strap. All of the cutouts around the case are right on point and line up very well with no problems.

This case is definitely one of the thicker leather cases we have seen but that is to be expected from a case that features materials of this quality. If you’re looking for an all leather case like this anyways you more than likely have come to realize that comes with the territory. Your iPad is more than safe within the heavily cushioned outer of the Cinema case and looks extremely classy when closed up.

The Cinema Stand gives you a nice viewing angle for watching movies or browsing the internet with its easy to use stand. The case only offers one viewing angle unfortunately as there are no ridges to secure the case in different angles so be aware of that as well.

So if you’re on the lookout for a leather folio style case that also offers a simple stand option then I would definitely give the people at Piel Frama a look. There materials used and the construction of the case are one of the best we have seen in a leather iPad case. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for this nice leather though as it is one of the most expensive leather iPad cases around as well.

Congratulations on your classy case!
Thanks for the review and the pics.
I'm not a fan of the bezel being covered, but that's just my personal opinion.

Yeah, great looking case, but way too bulky (for my taste) and there's no need to cover the bezel up with a thick layer of material.

I suppose it's easier for manufactures to do this rather than mold up a plastic base for the iPad to snap into.
