I got this for my M1 Mac mini to get a third and fourth monitor running. It claims to do 2x4k @ 60 hertz. I was actually only looking for 1x4k @ 60 hz as I have another device that does 2k. The devices does 1x4k @ 60 hertz just fine. I don't have a spare 4k monitor to test 2x4k without taking my desk apart.

It works fine at native resolution but fonts are fuzzy with scaled resolutions. I had the native monitor and DisplayLink monitor side-by-side at the same scaled resolution and it looked sharp on the native and fuzzy on the DisplayLink. I have heard complaints about this in the past so I guess this may be a limitation of using this technology. My solution is to use the monitor at native resolution.

I am impressed with the performance of these devices but there are some limitations. I am not a gamer - I will just use this for office stuff.
