Review: Rocketfish Screen Protector

I was at Best Buy trading in our old phones yesterday and noticed that they had a Rocketfish screen protector for the iPhone5 for $17.99. I picked one up to put on my girlfriend's phone. She likes to have one on there since she keeps the phone in her purse.

Application was easy (used the steamy room trick). It went right on the first time with minimal bubbles. I was able to get the few small bubbles out with the included squegee. I was able to put her iFrogz slider case back on without causing the edges of the protector to bubble up. We'll see how it holds up, but so far so good.

How is the clarity and feel of it on the phone? Is it matte or clear? Fingerprint magnet? Did it come with a back protector as well? Thanks in advance!

It's not quite as smooth as the glass, but its FAR better than the ZAGG I tried on my iPhone when I first got it.

I will ask her how it has held up today, we put it on late last night.

No back protector.

Yea, a little high for something so basic. She wanted to get something before there was any chance of it getting scratched up. I had a $5.00 reward zone certificate, so that helped.

I can't a good picture of it. No orange peel though. That's what I hated about the Zagg.

It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet unfortunately.

I have one on my phone and I think it's awful. I bought it the same day that I bought my phone and I installed it immediately after peeling off the film the phone ships with. These screens have a very noticible rainbow effect.
