I wanted to give you guys a quick look at a case from Spigen SGP; the Neo Hybrid EX Slim Metal case.

Spigen SGP has recently released a line of "slim" cases and I think it is a great idea that they've come up with. This particular case is just as protective as the standard edition Neo Hybrid EX but with a nice slim form factor - I love it! The 2 part concept is exactly the same, but the pieces don't add quite so much thickness to the iPhone when installed; as a user of both, I can feel a difference in the thickness in hand. Due to the slimmer form factor, the silicone fits a little bit tighter and the polycarbonate frame also fits tighter - fitment is almost as close to perfect as you could get. For those of you who are using tempered glass screen shields (like I am), this case works just fine and will sit about flush with the top of the screen shield (not yielding any lay-on-the-table lip on the front).

Like mentioned above, the design is the same as the standard Neo Hybrid EX - same silicone covered volume buttons and sleep/awake button that give excellent user "click" feedback when used. I certainly do not have any complaints with this case; Spigen SGP has nailed another amazing product. Pricing of the slim case is $31.99 which includes a Spigen SGP crystal screen shield, crystal back protective film and a set of jelly home button stickers. If I had to choose between the standard and slim Neo Hybrid EX, it's a no brainer - go for the slim series.

Finally bit the bullet and bought one for my black 5, got the slate color

That's a very nice looking table.

So, with the glass screen shield, is there even a slight height difference with the bumper? or are they pretty flush? thanks.

That's my dining room floor and thanks. If there is any lip, it's negligible, it's flush.

Great pics. I have one on order. How long have you had the case? Have you experienced any slipping off yet taking it in and out of (jean) pockets? I have had a couple of these cases for the 4/4s and each one suffered the same issue. Others have also remarked about the outer plastic slipping off the inner rubber lining, usually at the bottom edges.

Jng, I am convinced you are are dissing this case BEFORE you even get it based on one negative review. Why don't you wait to receive it before posting you dis-satisfaction for it? I have it and think it is great. You are being much too anal about one review saying it slips in the corners. Maybe you should not carry it in the front pocket of you skinny boy jeans:rolleyes: also, it is not "others" it is one user posting about slipping. I think y'all need to quit wearing skinny boy jeans or not carry it in your front pocket. Are you happy to see me or is that your iPhone 5?

Excuse me, one review? I think not. Aside from the several people that hang out here and post (which have said they experienced the issue), I have also read and have tweeted with others with the issue. Believe it or not MacRumors is not the only source of information for iPhone cases. But even with that being said, asking someone how long someone has had their case and if they experienced a problem should not be an issue for you or anyone reading any thread. Plus, I bought the case and I will of course write up a review and post my experiences accordingly, so your commentary about me being negative about it is way off base. I actually have high expectations of the case and am looking for something to be on par or better than the Caze's I already have.

Plus, I have been a good customer of SGP products and know the pros and cos of most of their offerings. I have probably owned more Neo Hybrid EX's than most people (5 in total), each having the same issue. Believe me, your (and soon to be mine) 30 dollar case is really not worth your condescending comments. If you don't like me asking questions then please keep your wise-crack comments to yourself or just mute my comments as this is supposed to be an open forum where people engage in open conversation.

I've had it 2 weeks. No slipping off while taking it out of my jean pockets. I had the 4S version and never had an issue with that slipping you speak of.

The Gunmetal Ex Slim looks great on the white iPhone 5! I was debating getting the Gunmetal but opted for the Satin Silver which has the white silicone inner layer. It was delivered recently and I love it so far. I'm currently rocking it with a Spigen aluminum home button, sticker boy silver carbon fiber mid back with white carbon fiber upper and lower back, as well as a gold brushed aluminum apple logo.

If anyone is interested in how this setup looks, feel free to let me know and I will try and post some pictures.

Got the case, hated the screen protectors. Difficult to put on and the lack of any instructions didn't help.

Thanks for the pics. Looking to get one soon! It's just a bit expensive though for a bumper..

It is priced higher because it includes their premium screen protector and back skins. If you want a bumper only, Spigen has a linear EX which is a 2 piece polycarbonate only bumper (no silicone inner) that does not include any screen protectors or skins for $21.99.
