I've spent a lot of cash and been pretty unhappy with cases these past few months...ive got to say im a bit surprised over these cheap cases, out of the package, they seem pretty nice!

I'm a minimalist, i just want a light, good looking durable shell.

comes in a cheap plastic baggy, the cases is thin, Just like a feather or power support air jacket. it wraps around identically to the air jacket, leaving the top and bottom open, and half the sides open. Its finish is what makes this case stand out. Im not sure if its going to last BUT the best way to describe this cases feel, is just like that of the back of the phone itself. smooth, shiny. The apple logo and the printing are a neat added touch. Again, for three bucks, who knows if it'll last. inside of the case is smooth, sides leave the chrome exposed just like the air jacket does.

the lettering says 16 gig but i could really care less. And im sure they dont have licensing approval to put the apple logo on it but, its not going to keep me up at night. The apple logo is identical to that on the phone, reflective silver. The lettering is black.

the case fits the phone perfect, just as the air jacket or feather would fit, and it comes in like 15 colors you can pick from. I ordered white, black and purple (for the misses) and got white, black and pink ;) shipping took less than a week they seem to come from Florida.

if you have 8 bucks burning a hole in your pocket, try them out

as a side note, in 6 months ive been though the following cases:
air jacket - liked it but finish wore off then bottom cracked
rebel serpent - brand new never put it on its too big
white feather - got too dirty
black feather - (in the mail to me)
iSkin solo - on the misses phone, good protection, nice finish

Wow that looks really nice, do you think it would fit over a skin on the back of the phone?

Kind of wish they left the GB size off but for the price you can't beat it. Can you take a side view shot so I can see how much of the bezel is covered?

no shock absorbing what so ever.
not cover the bezel at all.
not smooth enough from the inside to prevent scratches.
sharp edges.

i got the red one for 1.5$ free worldwide shipping, and i didn't even try to use it.

+ i don't remember who it was but i think "iPhone3gReviewer2009" get cut really bad in his finger from this case.

case-mate barely there, sgp ultra-thin, gogo usa,
they all smooth from the outside (not like the feather) and they much much better than this case.
i believe 700$ device deserve 15$ case.

This is the deal breaker for me. I have $8.00 burning a hole in my pockets and yet I have no desire to stick a case on that is knowingly going to scratch the **** out of my phone. If I am going to allow that, then I'm going to go ahead and go without a case.

just like the air jacket and the feather, there is no way this would fit over an invisible shield or BSE on the back of the phone, it hugs the phone too much. there is no 'play' when the phone is in the case.

Edited OP to add the photo above.

although im not completely obsessive compulsive about the phone... i will not put it into a position where i know its going to get damaged or scratched. The inside isnt glass smooth like the air jacket, its more like the material the feather is made of. And if the phone isnt moving around inside the case, its not going to get scratched.

only time will tell really, even the feather rubs on the bezel. I'll report back if i start to see anything bad. Like the air jacket, i dont mind exposing the bezel. its how the phone was made to look, so either i keep it uncovered or put I/S over just the top and bottom bezels.

we'll see...

allow me to add, per what jessica is quoting, the edges of this case are NOT perfectly machined/finished like that of the air jacket or feather. Cutting skin, or scratching may be a bit inflated but if you run your finger over it, you can feel its not cut perfectly straight. The unevenness does not protrude inward and is hardly noticible unless your examining the case closely. I didnt notice it myself until i read the quote took the case off and looked again.

V4705, good post, i looked at those cases. My beef with all three of them is they have holes around the logo, the phone will get scratched once dirt enters that. If i could find a case that wraps like the feather, looks like the air jacket and has a good looking finish that will not get dirty or rub off i'll give it a try!

The seller did the same thing to me, sent pink instead of purple. That's a little irritating that he'd advertise it if he doesn't actually have it. I found another seller (but in Hong Kong) that has a better deal - 10 for $7.99. Same cases. I've had mine on for about a week now, and it still looks incredible. I've taken it off and on several times to try on other cases and to show the case to friends, and no scratches on my phone at all. A higher price doesn't always mean better quality, and this is one of those times. ;)

Oh wow 10 for 8 bucks... I might just have to order them just to see what they are like. It is so tempting.

You get what you pay for

I purchased this case in black on ebay a few months ago for my sisters iphone. It has jagged sharp edges and rough interior. I would not even put my phone in it just to try it on, but my sister did for hers and within 2 weeks the case started to chip. It was like putting a blade on the phones bezel. I couldnt tell you for sure if it scratched her phone because she already had a few scratches to begin with because she keeps her phone in her purse. Overall, I do think this case looks nice and it is cheap. However, you get what you pay for so I would not risk putting on a cheap case on my phone knowing that it may cause damage. I might as well use the phone naked if I thats case. $400 iphone + $1 case=

well ive got to be honest with you guys... today i dusted off my black iskin solo and put it on while i wait for my black feather to arrive next week.

although the phone had no movement in the ebay cases all the discussion here weighed in a bit and i switched back. i can say after 2 full days of use there was no scratches! :) and i honestly think as long as the phone is snug, there wont be any bezel scratching with these but the iskin solo is so irresistibly warm and fuzzy for the iPhone i couldnt resist going back.

the iSkin is really a sweet case.

I just got the $8/10 cases deal off ebay and I AM VERY impressed.

I used to have the Vaja Evolution which I sold on Ebay cause it was too bulky and got too dirty too quick so I've had my nice cases with my iphone.

Ironically, this was the best case cause it keeps the iphones visual integrity. This is a no brainer. Buy it on site. It fits like a glove and it didn't scratch my phone.

I have several different kinds of Ebay snap-on back cases and have not seen any scratches.

More-Case and Ultra-Case are selling the same cases.

Just got a few of these in the mail. Pretty impressed as well. No way they offer drop protection but it's as close to going naked as I'm going to get. My favorite is still the incase slider, although my bezel is a little scuffed up.

If the purpose of puting a case on, is to protect it, then if there is a risk to scratch it with a cover, just go naked... :D
