I just noticed that the details suddenly say 1M charging cable. I know at least one of the reviews showed their link got the longer one.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me. I have a power strip that resides directly behind my nightstand, so the charging cable only has to be long enough to reach from there to the surface of that nightstand. Works just fine for my 1m lightning cable for my iPhone.
