I have Mint running in my old MCP. Think it runs pretty well but honestly I am too tired to learn how to use Mint or any other distros. Just tired. The only OS I know how to comfortably use is Windows of any flavour. Yeah not ideal but its the devil I know.
So I have been trying to get Win11 to run properly for more than a year. Getting Win11 to install/run is no problems except that there is no sound. Then I read something about clean install with Win10 and use bootcamp drivers to get it working 100%. Then upgrade to Win11. Anyone who has done this please confirm?
By clean install I mean just Windows, no dual boot and no vm.

If you have a copy, put on windows 7 first install the bootcamp drivers, then save the audio, and bluetooth drivers to another folder. Then upgrade to 10 before 11. That's what i had to do on mine. Just doing the 10 to 11 route always had something missing. Win11 will work fine on the 8,2 it just takes forever to get it up and running properly.
