revolution 7.1 audio problems

i installed my revolution 7.1 music and system sounds are normal but the talking when i phone a phone on skype is fast and squeeky like a chipmunk
and on ut2004 the announcer is the opposite slow and deep
i tried reinstalling the latest driver and same issue
any ideas?
