No I havn't figured out how to get Rhapsody Music Service on the iPhone but couldn't someone smarter than myself figure it out? If an iPhone can be cracked, why can't someone figure out how a Rhapsody-To-Go device is put together and create a jailbroken iPhone app that would allow you to play Rhapsody tunes on the iPhone. I can swing a monthly fee but am too poor to buy album after album on iTunes.

Would it be possible to remotley access my Powerbook through my iphone, running Rhapsody at home and streaming the feed through the phone?

There must be a way to access Rhapsody from a cellular device. Its just a web app and a plug-in.

You won't see Rhapsody on the iPhone, here's why:

1) Rhapsody uses Real Media which isn't supported on the iPhone.

2) Apple won't allow a competator to Itunes if an offical app were made.

3) Rhapsody now has an offical tie in with Verizon.

4) Today's Itunes 8.0 is rumored to have it's own subscription service. We'll see.

But I myself would LOVE Rhapsody on here.

I agree that Apple will never let Rhapsody officially tie with the iphone just as Rhapsody is too stubborn to make software for the mac, which I think would do very well as an alternative to itune's pay-per-song service by the way.

I don't know the ins and outs of the Rhapsody On The Go platform but I am just wondering if there isn't a way someone could create an app that would make Rhapsody think that the iPhone was a supported device.

Or....I know that it is possible to stream music and video off your computer to your iphone so I am wondering if it is possible to leave Rhapsody open in your browser on your computer and stream the music feed to your iphone.
