Rich notification like iMessage

Hello

I would like to ask you which app with rich notification like iMessage you recommend to communicate with people using android phone.

My wife use android phone and we write a lot. We use Facebook messenger and WhatsApp but neither app support rich notification like iMessage (you don't see new messages during replying on lock screen)

I've checked several apps and it looks that Viber support rich notification... I'm curious if you know more communication apps which use rich notification.
