Starting Nov. 17th, there will be an exhibit of some of Richard Avedon's work at the Pace/MacGill Gallery in NYC (http://www.pacemacgill.com/show_installation.php?item=169).
I just saw an article in the NYT about the exhibit this morning (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/13/arts/design/richard-avedon-nothing-personal-pace-macgill.html).
Going to be running until January 13th. I'm hoping to be able to find time to view it.
He is an amazing portrait photographer. As stated in the NYT article, there is going to be a reprint of Nothing Personal coming out--a blast from the past that remains quite relevant today.
