My office (I'm a grad student) recently installed a Ricoh Aficio 2027SP multifunction printer. The printer has a network interface, but no postscript module installed. I found a MacRumors post (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=39447) regarding a different Ricoh model that suggests using OS X's built-in "HP Laserjet 6" PCL driver. That works -- only problem is that the printer duplexes EVERYTHING, even single-page jobs. I can't quite work out the way it decides when to actually print. One time, I got the same test page on both sides of one piece of paper. A second time, I got my test page on one side, and a test page from another user I'm collaborating with on the other side! (she'd printed about 45 minutes before).

Any ideas what other drivers I might try? I've been trying to make sense of the foomatic link at the bottom of the other thread, but I'm pretty confused about what there is PCL (PS obviously won't work).
