Under Lion, my MacBook Air (11", 2010) runs fairly fast still, but, wow, is it noisy! Is there anything I can do about this?

In Activity Monitor, the suspect seems to be Flash, but even when i'm out of a browser (and quit the Flash process), it's still incredibly noisy.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is working as intended.

Sent from my iPhone.

I have the 13" of the 2011 MBA models and I've yet to hear the fans kick in. My machine actually seems quieter than the 2010 model it replaced. You sure you don't have spotlight still indexing or some other process grinding away?

Bring it in to the Apple Store and let them listen to it.
