I apologize if this is extremely basic, but this is the first time I've put windows on my Mac via bootcamp successfully. I can't seem to figure out how to right click. Even a control click won't do it... what's going on here? All drivers successfully installed it seems.

You need to install the boot camp drivers. Until you have you can right click by selecting the item so it is highlighted and then press shift + F10 (or perhaps shift + fn + F10 depending how your function keys are set).

Once boot camp drivers are installed if you check the boot camp control panel you have options for right click. The default is pressing 2 fingers on the trackpad but you can nominate the bottom left or right corner instead (or as well) if you want.
