The right fan doesnt turn on in my powerbook and temps get up to 150f. I ran a diagnostic and all sensors work and both fans turned on for the test but have never ever turned on to cool. Is this a common thing with pb's? Or is something screwed up?

Edit: its a 1.5ghz 15"

The right fan in my 1.5GHz PB rarely comes on. I also use G4 Fan Control and lowered the temp threshold a little.

My PowerBook's right fan is running but the other one is not at all. If you are concerned about the temps use G4 Fan control like you said. My PowerBook's fans rarely run unless I change the settings. I would only listen to the people with the aluminum PowerBooks not the people with MacBooks. The fans run all the time in all intels

60ºC is normal.

130ºF is normal

if you are worried about it getting to hot just set the fans to 20º (full blast) and it will stay cold

150º is normal if 1 fan is running half power (1500 rpm).
