The mute/rotation switch? That should be the only button aside from the volume.

Nope. Near the bottom along the right side is a 3/4 oval with a hole.

edit: Just use a paper clip or any pin, push gently into the hole.

Your iPad should have com with the SIM ejector tool. Look in the cardboard sleeve with the paperwork.
