My ringer switch doesn't want to stay on "silent," it will be on the silent position but switch back to loud and ring during class. I can definitely tell that it's hardware related, you can tell the switch moves a little and is confusing the hardware as to whether it is on silent. Unfortunately it is out of warranty, I think (I bought it one year ago).

Any thoughts?

Take it in a visit a Genius at Apple, only they can tell what is wrong and if they can fix it. If not, maybe some duct tape to hold the switch on silent? ;)
