I work in noisy environments and was wondering if there is an app or something I can do to my iphone 4 to boost the speaker volume? Thanks in advance.

I think there are apps out there that do that. But, you may find that you're hamstrung by the physical limitations of the amp/speaker of the phone. A commerically mastered 'hot' track at full scale out already badly distorts the iPhone's speaker system. If however you're dealing with low level material that needs to be bumped up, it may do the job.
