Ringtone change not working in "Mail"

Just installed the GM after all betas and it works great! Noticed one issue though- I've tried to change the ringtone for "mail", but it somehow sticks to default- doesn't happen on any other app other than apple's mail. Anyone have this issue?

I've done that and it doesn't change. Sticks to the default. Even tried a hard-reset!

Its definitely the default mail app? I have both the mail app & mailbox (for my gmail) and realized the mail tone in settings didnt affect the mailbox app's tone.
