I have used my imac for everything music related. All my music, and created ringtones and such were all on itunes on that computer. Right now that computer is in storage with a bunch of other junk cause I'm in between places right now. I've been using my macbook pro as my main computer and just recently got bored of most all my ringtones and wanted to update them with some new stuff. But now when I connect my iphone4 to the macbook it can only sync the new stuff and says all my old stuff will be deleted. I wanna keep the old stuff that was synced to my old itunes. Yet I wanna add this new stuff. Combine and merge them.

Is this at all possible? Or do I have to just suffer the blow and lose all my old music, photos, and ringtones. Or just put up with the old stuff till I get a new place and unbox the old computer and use it?

Sorry to say that’s how it works. Perhaps if you were jailbroken there might be a workaround. Otherwise, biting the bullet is your only option. (Or buy ringers from iTunes *shudder*) :)
