Ringtone help!

I made an m4r file .. I follow all the steps of making ringtone
but I cant drag the file "m4r" to my ringtone on iphone through itunes ? basically the library only contains

summary - info- apps-music-movies-tvshows-books-photos!

No ringtones

and I am using the latest itunes 10.2.2
and my iphone got the latest update 4.3.3

help pls

You don’t drag it to the ringtones under iPhone in iTunes. You drag it to the ringtones in iTunes. Then you sync it to the iPhone.

Ok so I have a list of ringtones that I created but no matter how short I make them not all of them work. there are 5 of 15 that say that the file is too long, but I have cut them down to 15 sec. can anyone help?

I know you’re new, but you should have made a new post for this, since it has nothing to do with the OP here.

30 seconds is as small as it has to be, so trimming it to 15 has nothing to do with your issue. I’d try starting over and making a new ringtone for the ones that don’t work.
