Ok, so I downloaded some ringtones from audiko.net. I was first having a problem with getting them to sync, but I figured that out. They are now syncing, but only to my music. If I go into my ipod on my iPhone, I will find the short clips under the various artists but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them to show up under ringtones. (They are under the ringtones category on iTunes, just not on the phone).

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I've used iToner to add mp3 files as ringtones. It doesn't show up in iTunes as ringtones, but it does show up on the iPhone. That's good enough for me.

Yea, I would too if I had a Mac. Anyone know what the problem is with the ringtones not showing up?

I use iphoneringtonemaker and they show up fine.

Rather not pay just to have a couple seconds of songs used as ringtones. Besides, I'm really close to getting it, just can't figure out why they're not coming up in the list of sounds.
