Ringtone problem on the iphone

Hello dudes,

question for y'all. I just got a new iphone and have searched out how to make ringtones out of songs from an itunes library. I have done this sucessfully with about five different songs and individually, they all work on the iphone. My problem lies when i try to add more than one of these custom ringtones to the phone. When i add a new one under the ringtones tab listed under the iphone(in itunes), although multiple ringtones will be listed under this tab in itunes, when i go to my phone only one is listed. No multiples like i have read that some other guys have, just the one ringtone. I have tried in earnest to find a solution on my own to no avail. you guys are my last hope.
