I'd like to set up the phone so that it rings during the day (9am-10pm) and goes on silent each night. I constantly get calls in the middle of the night which I don't want to answer. Is there a setting or an app for this?

I know you can do it manually each morning and evening, but i often forget, and then get woken up at 4am...

I've never heard of an an app like this. There is the switch above the volume button. If you can remember to brush your teeth before bed, then it shouldn't be too hard to remember to toggle the switch. If you are jailbroken, look around on cydia/rock.

Only way I know of is via Jailbreak.

This is one of the basics all phones must have. All my old phones had this feature.

Only iphone doesnt support it. rest of the phones do.
