I use the default "Tri Tone" as my ringtone, and whenever I receive a text in which I hear the actual ringtone (not just that zoom sound like when you send a message) it sounds a bit distorted. I went to Settings -> Sound, and went into the menu to pick another and chose the same one so I could hear it, and it sounds crystal clear. So it seems like it isn't a problem with the speaker, maybe a software problem?
With my 3G I'd get a distorted sound when I would receive a text right as my phone would go completely to sleep, but otherwise it was fine. Anyone else experiencing this?
