Ringtone volume?

Is there a way to change the volume of the file your sending to itunes, i know the iphone's ringer is kinda quiet but i was thinking if you change the volume of the ringtone it might be louder? You think so?

In itunes when creating your file, choose the ringtone before its loaded in the ringtone directory and get info. You can adjust the volume of that file.
