ringtones dont sync

Hello, just did the update to version 5 now my ringtones in my iTunes library will not sync.i really need this because i have custom ringtones for all my contacts. any help will be appreciated

Had the same problem, only a few synced and others didn't.

First of all, make sure you have the "sync" box checked under the ringtones tab on your devices page in iTunes.

If that doesn't work, just try it a few more times. I had an issue getting one of my ringtones onto my phone, but after 2 or 3 syncs (all wifi sync) it finally worked

Had same issue. What worked for me was to connect to iTunes via USB and then unchecked Sync. I synced normally and went back checked the box synced again and voila all ringtones are back and properly assigned to my contacts.
I have had this same problem with every new iPhone or OS release and always forget the solution. This time I remembered.
