Ringtones - iToner/Garageband?

Will iToner and Garageband work with *protected* songs? If I wanted to use garageband to crop a protected song and iToner to place it on the iPhone. Thanks!

It works with any song in iTunes. You go directly to the folder. You are not in iTunes when you edit in Garage Band or when you upload to the iPhone in iToner. All the songs I used so far have been songs I bought in iTunes. It works with any song. Enjoy!

When I ported mine, it activated right away. I could make calls immediately, I just didn't recieve incoming calls until 24 hours later.

How do you do it? I can't open ANY of my iTunes files....
