Ringtones won't sync!!! Help!

Ok, so I have made ringtones with Garageband and they are in m4r format and they are less than 30 sec long. I sync my iphone with my mac and they don't show up in my ringtones in my phone. Any ideas?

Do they show up as ringtones in iTunes?

Sorry, had to ask. I assume you have the checkbox checked for them to sync? If so, I can only suggest restoring in DFU mode, and then try the sync.

ok some i am able to sync my ringtones now. but my music disappears. it says "are you sure you want to sync rintones? all music will disappear." so basically i have to choose between the two. is there anyway i can overcome this?
